Well, here I am, almost 10 years after graduation...Who thought we could get old
so fast?! The last ten years have been great for me. I graduated in 2000 from
Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors in German and a Masters in
Early Childhood Education. I started teaching in Va while living with my dad who
had just retired from Wurzburg until the summer of 2001 when, yes, believe it or
not, Cas and I got married. We moved to Goldsboro, NC where Cas was stationed as
a Fire Firefighter in the Air Force and lived there for 4 years. In 2003, I am
proud to say I gave birth to our first child, a boy, JC Austin Smith. He is by
far our greatest accomplishment and our pride and joy. This past summer the Air
Force was kind enough to move us to Colorado Springs where we have bought a
house and settled in nicely. I am teaching fourth grade for the 5th year and
trying to enjoy it. I'd rather be at home raising my son.:) For now, life is
grand...may you all be as blessed as ! us. Best WAHS memory: pick one: trips to
the uni before practice, the kapella, the castle wall, the airport, parties at
Cas's house, parties and sleepovers at my house, away games...the list goes on
and on...

Update: Since my last entry, I was sent off to Germany by James Brown (who's now
married to Katy Gault) and Robe McAlister (also now married) to live in Ansbach
for 3+ years to fly Apache helicopters and eventually deployed to Iraq for most
of 2004. I had the pleasure of visiting our old home many times, ran into Brian
Pearson and his wife, hung out with Aaron Ramberg, coached with Feletar
"against" Werner in wrestling, ran into Toney Floyd in the Middle
East, and left in May of 2005. I'm now at Ft. Huachuca, AZ enduring more
military school. I'm headed back to Alabama after for another aircraft
qualification course, then temporarily back here before going where ever the
Army needs. I'm going to make our class reunion next summer, though it's an
ALL-CLASS it's also our 10th, so get your stuff together and come on!

Wow, I can't believe I'll have been a high school graduate of ten years in less
than a year. Time sure does fly. So what have I done in the last nine years? 1)
I've served my country (United States Air Force), 2) I've journeyed down the
"higher education" route (University of Memphis), 3) Now I work full
time helping to conserve our nation's natural resources (US Fish and Wildlife
Service). Along the way, I've managed to stay single and love it, stay
childless, but find the greatest joy in being a girl scout leader and mentor,
and move from Memphis, TN, to Barstow, CA, to San Antonio, TX, to Beale, CA, to
Atlanta, GA, to Anchorage, AK, and finally to the Washington, DC area, where I
now live. So what have I discovered about myself in the last nine years? 1)
Jesus is the head of my life, 2) Death will not be the end for me, 3) I enjoy
giving more than receiving, 4) Writing is my gift, 5) Your relationship with
money is a very important one, so take care of it and! it will take care of you,
6) I love that chicken from Popeye's, 7) Being conservative is cool, 8) No one
can make me feel inferior without my consent, 9) Love is an action, not a
feeling, 10) My enemies have taught me my greatest lessons, 11) Blood is thicker
than water, 12) Judging others keeps me from bettering myself, 13) Kids are so
much smarter than adults, 14) It's more important to have joy than to be happy,
15) There are no dead end jobs, just stepping stones that are smaller than
others, 16) If you love yourself enough, you won't lose sleep over who doesn't,
and 17) With God, all things are possible. When I think about high school, I
think about how cool it was to be educated overseas, how special it is that my
best friend in high school, is still my best friend today (Twila Smith), how big
a crush I had on ****** , and how I could never tell him, and what I was so sure
I was going to do, is yet to be done. Most of all, I have no regrets. My life
has been very rewarding and I pray everyone else's has been as well. God
Bless, Tamara

I unfortunately was not able to graduate with my class, due to my father PCSing
to Louisiana. I did however, attend 2 yrs of school with my classmates before I
left. I am currently residing in Phoenix, Az. Just moved back here From Myrtle
Beach, SC. I am working on my college degree in Criminal Justice. I am a proud
mother of a handsome young man Micah, he is 7 yrs old. He's starting to be the
little athletic one I used to be. If anyone remembers me email me natascha_martin@hotmail.com.
I am looking for Tara L. Larson and Sylvia N. Jacobsen. So if anyone knows of
them please let them know I am in search for my 2 long lost gal pals. Thank you!

Song: I dedicate "Adelaide's Lament" and "Sue Me" to the
one-and-only original WAHS cast of GUYS AND DOLLS--including Mr. Tucker, every
last techie, and ESPECIALLY Mr. Flom--for putting up with me, even when my
grandma passed away and I had to leave everything at the last minute. Come
to think of it, without Flom and all the cast members who gave me a hard time,
high school would've been a bore!

All I have done since I left WAHS is miss it and everything about it!
I'm double majoring in Spanish and Communication Arts in Speech and will finally
get my BA in less than a year. I'm sorry to say I gave up on my dream of
becoming an actress, but I'm still very involved with Hispanic Heritage Month
dances and exhibits, and have been signed with a model/talent agency for about a
year now. After college...who knows? I'm undecided between graduate school and
the Air Force, so I will either continue to strive for an MA and then a PhD, or
I'll join the service and end up back in Germany someday.
Best Memory: Yikes...I find it virtually impossible to pinpoint a specific
memory that means the most to me. Ms. WAHS, Homecoming Queen, and STUCO Pres
were all honors, but the best memories I have of WAHS come from the long,
grueling hours of drama practice after school.
Additional Entry: 4/5/04 Enterprise, AL. Since
graduating from WAHS, I finished college with two Bachelor's degrees and
began working for the Army. Currently, I'm employed at the U.S. Army
Aviation Technical Test Center at Fort Rucker. After the golden
opportunity I was so blessed to have with the Gap for a year, I continue
to model as much as I possibly can in my spare time. www.rqmodels.com/models/women/tamara.htm.
I recently got engaged to Nathan McDaniel, who plays football for the
Central Alabama Renegades, and our wedding date is set for September.
Update: 1/3/05, Enterprise, Alabama, I thought I'd start off the new
year by updating my bio for all my fellow wolves to see. Since my last
entry, Nathan and I were married (on 9.4.04) and are enjoying married life
to the fullest. We bought a house and stayed in Alabama since I was
promoted to a Contract Specialist position with Westar Aerospace and
Defense Group, Inc. Nate continues to work as a manager for Fastenal
Company and in addition, will soon be playing football for the Montgomery
Maulers. No children yet, as we decided to wait a couple of years. I've
shared some of our wedding pics in my folder on the Photos page. Take care
and Happy New Year!

Left WAHS in April of 1994. Moved to New York. Moved to Korea in August of 1994,
and stayed there til graduation in 1996. Moved to Guam in 1997 and that's where
I met my husband. We got married in 1998, and were stationed in Port Hueneme,
CA. He's a SeaBee in the Navy. We moved to Virginia in 2000, and have been here
ever since.
Update: 01/03/05, Gulfport, MS, Well, here we are again. I'm in
Mississippi now. My husband has been to Iraq TWICE already and is getting ready
to go back again. We are moving home next summer and he is getting out of the
Navy. We are tired. Other than that, not much has changed.. :):)

I'm not sure how many people will remember me since I was known as the
"quiet" one. But for those who do...I moved to GA for what was
supposed to be my summer before joining the Air Force. That's when I met my
future husband. With the Air Force out the window, I decided to make this home.
We've been married for 5 years and have a wonderful little 2 year old named
Austin. My husband is in the Navy so we were sent to Washington State for
awhile, and we've been back home for almost a year now. Hopefully for good. I've
been working as a medical assistant in OB/GYN for the past 2 years. I'm actually
hoping to make a transition to Pediatrics. I guess I'm more interested in
screaming kids than having to hear women complaining about, well, I won't go
there. Anyway, hope to hear from some of you!

I'm finishing up my fourth year at CU, studying Human Resource Management and Resort Tourism. Right now I'm working at a small start-up pre-IPO company in Boulder. Hopefully, after graduation, I'll do HR for a hi-tech firm in Colorado or San Francisco. or HR at a resort where i'll play golf, train to get my PGA card, and become head pro at a beautiful resort on the Cali coastline.
Best Memory: Fall 1995 European Golf Championships w/ Andy Smith. We were both in contention to win our respective flights when out of the blue, two hot girls from Mannheim show up at our hotel room with booze, tight shirts, and little shorts. Needless to say we all stayed up all night, had some fun, then Andy and I proceeded to get our asses kicked the next day by a couple of guys from Mannheim... we finished behind them.

Additional entry: Shreveport, Louisiana. Once again, I moved right before my senior year, so I was unable to live the
WAHS graduation. I graduated from LSU in Baton Rouge with a BA in Speech
Pathology (Communication Disorders) in 2000. Now I live in Shreveport, LA and
just received my MA in Speech Pathology from LSU Medical Center. Currently I am
the Speech Pathologist for The Arc of Caddo-Bossier, where I provide early
intervention services for ages birth to 3. I am still thinking about going on
for a PhD, but would like to get a little experience under my belt. I hope that
all of my friends from WAHS are doing well and loving life. Hope we can see each
other again soon.

Upon leaving the Wonderful World of Würzburg I moved to Ft. Drum, NY,
graduated from HS after a year and moved to Delhi, NY for college. I had a son,
James in Jan. of 1997. I continued my education and graduated from Delhi in
1998. From there I went to a four year college nearby and currently still
attend. I will be recieving my BS in May 2000. I now live happily ever
after-stressing from school, but happy with my soon to be 3 year old son. I've
had many jobs, but am now happy as a computer lab consultant through the
college's Computer Services. I hope to move on next summer and start working
towards my Masters in Social Work.
Best Memory: I'd have to say it's the people. My friends, and even those
who weren't my friends, because as an Army Brat I had the privilege of meeting
so many people who made me who I am today and I'm happy with who I am today!
Update June 2004 Albany, NY: WOW my entry is old. In 2000
I graduated with by bachelors and then went on to Albany and earned a Masters in

Education: I currently have less than a year left on my Criminal Justice degree
from the University of Maryland. I also attended Blinn College (JUCO)in Brenham,
TX for a year where I played baseball. BIO: Well, I graduated WAHS in 1996, then
that summer, attended U of M in Wurzburg for a year. The following year (97), I
attended Blinn College for a year. In '99, I joined the Army and (believe it or
not) got stationed with the 101st in Wurzburg! After three years there and a
tour to Kosovo, I am now stationed at Fort Meade, MD. I am a Counterintelligence
Agent SGT (P) with the 902nd MI Grp. Life couldn't be better in a suit and tie.
I have been married since July of 2000, with no children. We are waiting to have
kids until we BOTH have our degrees. However, we do consider our dog and two
cats our 'kids'! Best Memory: Geez...my whole time there at WAHS was a good
memory. I can tell you though, my WORST memory was during my senior year,
Homecoming Football game. We were down by less than a touchdown, and the last
play of the game, we score a TD! Everyone went wild. However, there was a small
yellow flag on the field; and guess who it was against!!! ARGH! Other than that
instant, I loved my time at W'burg. My future plans, NEAR FUTURE, is to try out
for a Major League Baseball team. That has been my lifelong goal. I know that I
can make it...I just have to find time to attend a tryout. Who knows how long
I'd spend in the minors though...

I went to Notre Dame with a 3 year Air Force ROTC scholarship. I started out
majoring in engineering, switched to Russian and computer applications, became
medically disqualified from ROTC, graduated a semester late with a bachelor's in
English and computer applications, and now have no clue what to do next. My
wonderful husband has not pestered me to find a job, which is a relief because I
put enough pressure on myself to figure out what I want to do. Working with
computers? Going back to school for a pharmacology degree? Starting a family? In
the immediate future, I'll be saving up to go visit a college friend in Africa
who's there with the Peace Corps. And of course, I'm trying to convince my
husband that he wants to live in Germany.
Best Memories: Belgium with the gymnastics team, Spain, eating Popeye's before
drama practice, driving Mr. Tucker crazy with Lori, exploring the road not taken
with Alrinthea, playing hearts in Mr. Z's class, trying to miss more days of
class than Talia...

I didn't get to graduate from WAHS, I moved my sophomore year. I joined the Air
Force in 1997 and have about 5 1/2 more years to go. I'm going to school for my
nursing degree. I miss all my Wurzburg friends (Catherine Nestor, Gina Congrove,
Jimi Partyka, Mike, and that special guy that won my heart over (he knows who he
is). Hey to all the girls on the cheerleading squad from 92-93. I had the most
fun in Germany, going to the Airport and just hanging around downtown Wurzburg.
I'm now married and have no kids. I lived in DC for the first four years of my
enlistment, hung out with Corey Cowell a few times :) Now I'm in the Dirty
South, stationed at Moody AFB, GA. I'm a medical technician working with kids. I
would like to go back to Germany just to go and visit Wurzburg!!
