Indianapolis, IN
I moved back to the states in '90, graduating from High School in a little town called Mataoca in Virginia. I moved around a couple of more times, finally settling down back home in Indiana where I graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a Bachelor's Degree in English. I current work as the Production Manager of a catalog department of a local publisher and am happily married with two cats, a house and no kids (as yet). I have a lot of fond memories of WAHS and am interested in getting back in touch with some old friends. Drop me a line at hccummings@yahoo.com.

Killeen, Texas
After graduation I moved to El Paso, TX for about a year and a half. I then joined the Army Reserve. After training was completed I attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock to study electrical engineering. Two years later I was living in Killeen, TX and attending the police academy. I've been in law enforcement since then. Its strange how my high school aspirations turned into something else. My degree is in criminal justice and the only time I deal with anything electrical is after a storm and I have to call out the power company for power lines that have gone down. Of course had I never decided to pursue being a police officer I never would have met a certain court clerk who introduced me to her daughter. Kathryn and I were married just after her father returned from his first deployment to Iraq in 2004. We still live in Central Texas. Well, technically I still live in the Central Texas. At least that is where my wife is at the moment. I decided to sign up and ! venture to Afghanistan to assist and mentor the burgeoning democratic government's police forces. Or so the brochure says. I don't know exactly what the future holds, but I have the better part of the year to complete my mission in Afghanistan and at some point arrange my vacation during the middle of it all to get back in time for the birth of our first child. I suppose I have lousy timing. I've seen and done a myriad of things since leaving the cradle that was WAHS. No matter what I do though, I always carry a small part of my experiences from those halls where ever I go. Life just seems to work out in an unusual way.

Frozen tundra of Minot  North Dakota
Well, where do I begin? On Feb 27 1993 I joined the Air Force as part of a the Security Forces test program which was not anything special they just wanted to see if combining Sec. Specialists with SP’s would work. They thought it did so happened the birth of Sec. Forces which is a glorified grunt that works as a military police function during day to day operations with many additional contingency taskings such as Air base Defense, anti-terrorism, counter-terrorism, and counter-drug operations. On July 26 1993, I married my high-school sweetheart Dawn Yvette Rico. Only those who worked at BK would remember her!!! She studied at the University of Maryland and decided to come to Europe and study since her sister lived in Wurzburg. Yes, I am four years younger than she is!!!! We moved to San Angelo TX where my Beautiful Daughter Victoria Mercedes was born on Sept 9th and where I worked for Air Intelligence Agency for until December 94. I was transferred to Howard AFB R! epublic of Panama where I ended up working counter-drug operations for 5 years this experience changed my life forever!! On Jun 18 1998 my son Ronald III was born. I missed most of his first due to my job. Well, after much sacrificed, mainly my family life I was transferred to Minot where my lovely wife got fed up with the Military life and left. In Dec I am PCSing to Korea for a year and then I am getting out. Since I left WAHS I have continued with my art and my quest to be a musician I will never forget how Mr. Tucker and J.D. Louviere tried to teach me to play guitar to no avail. Even-though they couldn't teach me at the time they served as my inspiration to play. I have been in a couple of bands since then. Right now I'm in this Punk band called Crimes Of The Conspiracy. We just cut a Demo for Interscope records they are the parent company of Nothing records. I don't like the direction the band's music is going so I have been thinking of quitting and starting my ! own band, any takers? Well, for now I am going to stick this out, w
Update: 2/28/07, California.  Well, since my last entry a lot has changed. The world is a different place. My dreams of fame gave way to responsibility and a sense of duty. I was held in the military by stop loss as were many and once stop loss was lifted I chose to stay in. I can’t believe I have been in the Air Force for 14 years. Right now as I am typing this I am studying for my Master Sergeant test which is on the 5th of March. As you can guess I am going to stay in and one day retire from the Air Force, God willing. The Air Force is the one place where I finally feel like I belong. As for my days at WAHS, I think I spent so much time trying to fit in and still be different than everybody else that I missed out on all the bonds that were made by the great people around me. I wish I could have changed that, but I am who I am. I am happy now and my life could not be better from my point of view. I got remarried and love the second time around could not be sweeter. My wife Kedrin is! my best friend and so much more. Well, alumni of WAHS, thanks for the memories and if you want to look me up just email me at ronald.armenta-02@travis.af.mil

Seaside, CA
Immediately after high school, I worked odd jobs while attending cosmetology school. I graduated from that in Mar 94. I worked full time as a hair dresser and attended a community college full time in Tacoma, Washington earning an AAS in 96. After transferring to Eastern Washington University pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Reading, I decided to stop a year or so from completion because I knew it wasn't what I wanted to do. (Why waste any more tuition?) I moved back home and worked as a hairdresser again. (Around that time, I eloped with a soldier who was stationed at Fort Lewis...that ended up in a VERY short lived so-called marriage resulting in a uncomplicated mutual divorce.) On July 21, 1998, I joined the Air Force as a Vietnamese Linguist earning enough credits for a BS. My first assignment was at the NSA on Fort Meade, Maryland. I worked there for four years. During those four years, I married my best friend, Nang (on Valentine's Day of 2! 001) and had two sons, Alexander (2 yrs old now) and Vincent (6 mo.) I reenlisted on May 31, 2005 only to change my mind and get out in Sept 2004 to care full time for our two boys while my husband attends language school (again) for Mandarin. So here I am enjoying every silly moment of my children in sunny California. I couldn't be happier or feel more blessed. I plan on finishing school to earn a certification in dental hygiene before my youngest son starts preschool.

So, anyway, I ran out of money, so I worked for a Landscaping Company for awhile. (I cut grass, okay?) Anyway, I love physical labor, but I'm more of a brain than a brawn kind of guy, so I joined the Air Force and started school for Meteorology. For the first 4 years, I was an observer, which is exactly as it sounds, no forecasting whatsoever involved. Not until 1998 did I really start to forecast. And, now that I see how pointless it is to go through all this school and still be so inaccurate, I will probably go back to college and finish my degree.
Best Memory:  Hanging out with the 20 or so coolest people on the planet, Especially Robin, Damon, Daniel, Larry, Paula, Angie, Anthony, Tamara, Kandy, and a LOT of others.

Tom Gibbons
Iowa City, IA
Education: Roanoke College, U of Alabama, U of Iowa
Date: January 08, 2000
Well, hmmm... I went to school in Virginia, got a BA in Theatre with a minor in British Literature. Then I worked as an asst. manager at the box office of the regional theatre in Roanoke for a year. After a false start on my MFA in Dramaturgy at the University of Alabama, I transfered to the University of Iowa. I should be finished in the spring of 2001! I might go for a PhD after this, because that's just the kind of geek I am. While I'm here I'm writing plays, studying theory and criticism, teaching theatre history, and occasionally building scenery. But what I really want to do is direct... Not really--my thesis work concerns how people collaborate to make art from nothing. It's psychology, sociology, economics, creative writing, and performance all rolled into one. I've done other stuff, too (like a summer term at Oxford, and a summer working in a pet food plant), but this is what really consumes me.
Best Memory:  Performing the fall shows for the journalism conference in Nueremberg. Something ALWAYS went disastrously wrong, which was a big part of the fun.

Best Memory:  Tournaments in Mannheim 89-90 basketball season, eating Wolfies and chili cheese fries, playing softball at the DYA, schoolbus rides listening to Bobby Brown and Dionne Monroe bringing those NWA tapes! Hanging out w/ Lola, Tonya, Caletha, Alice, Remonia, Ginger, Glenda, Anita, among others. Cutting school to go shopping, being overly excited about how the boys Varsity Basketball team were BALLIN', the dances in Kitzingen in the party rooms of Marshall Heights and the DYA dances, eating pizza w/ Pam before the games and marvelling at how we still lost 3 lbs after each game, thinking we looked grown in our JROTC uniforms while bagging groceries on Larson, because our parents worked on Harvey! :-)

After 2 yrs at WAHS, I actually graduated from Hanau and proceeded to Syracuse University. I got my B.S. in Advertising and Marketing, but decided not to go into it, instead going into insurance. Like a true army brat, I've continued to move around after graduating college. In five year's I've done NJ, Cincinnati, and for the past two years, NYC. I'll probably stay here for a while. I've been successful and you just can't beat living and working in arguably the greatest city in the world. Any one interested can reach me at kjordan212@aol.com.

Some may remember me as JROTC Command Sergeant Major of the 92' year. 9 Days after graduation I went to the Marines. From 93-97 I was stationed in San Diego "Camp Pendleton" as a Helicopter crewmember. In that time I served on the USS Tripoli for 7 months traveling the Far East and also the Persian Gulf, and also spent 6 months in Okinawa Japan as a part of a Marine Expeditionary Force. From 97-99 I was stationed at MCAS El Toro, California. In the summer of 97 I met and married my Swedish born Princess, Katrin, Our first child "?" is on the way and is due in Late May early June. I am now out of the Military after seven years and miss the life. So I am trying to get back in.
Best Memory:  I wasn't one of those popular people with all the friends, so I have trouble remembering stuff. Schweinfurt Junior High was where all my memories are at. Baseball & Football, I did'nt play for WAHS because I had a small complex. Malik Tookes, Tony Epperson, Jill Keim, Joe Kennedy, and His brother Leon. I think that It was because I lived in one of those little towns out in the middle of nowhere, the only American. And it was a major hassle to go visit

Dayton, OH
Where to start. After graduation I joined the USAF where I spent 8 years. At least during this time frame I obtained a BA in Criminal Justice.
June 5th 2001 - I was discharged from the USAF and joined the Dayton Police Department. I still live in Dayton, OH. and am currently working with the E3 (Crime Forensic's Team) for the Dayton Police Department. I am married, one adopted son, 3 fish, a dog, and live in a typical suburban neighborhood. LOL
Whoever said school was finished after college was terribly mistaken, currently working on a Master's in ISO Forensic's.
Just wanted to say hello to all those who remember me and especially the people from Schweinfurt. It is strange how by just attending a school like Wurzburg, a bond of sorts in formed. I assume it is like that for all schools.
Anyway, toss me an email cdecorte@woh.rr.com

Well since I last update this in 2000 I thought that I would try it again...well after graduation almost 10 years ago (yiles :) ) I went to a community college and earned my associates in Nursing. Pretty much been doing that since Oct 1994. I married my college sweetheart in Oct 1995 and is will be 7 years this Fall...amazing. Mike is in the Army and currently stationed in Korea (again!!) which means that I spend way way too much time on the computer! :) I have two children. James is 10. His birthday is September 11th and he didn't have the greatest 10th birthday if you can imagine. We did throw him a party the following Saturday, but I think that it affected him more than he let on to...still does especially with Mike being gone. My daughter name is Emily. She is 5 and is so excited about starting at her brother's school in the Fall. They grow up so fast, and yet, not fast enough! Well that's about it for me...nurse by day and mommy by choice. It makes me happy.

After graduation I too joined the USAF, spent 4 1/2 years as a Security Forces Patrolman, later I transferred to the Office of Special Investigations (OSI) During this time, I acquired a BS in Criminal Justice and a BS in Forensic Science. I married in Nov. 94, to my wife Bethiana, after 8yrs we are still together. I am currently out of the Military and work as a Detective for the Dayton Police Department as a team Leader of the E3 unit (Crime Scene Div.) Bethiana is an ATTY. in the Dayton area, we have no children, perhaps we are both not ready yet. My time at WAHS was only four years, however I spent 10 years in Germany. When I returned to the states, it was definitely a culture shock. Well, I hate to cut this short, but if anyone wants to get in touch with me, email me at decorte23@aol.com.
