Wow! I never thought I would do this. Where to start. After I graduated I moved back to NY and partied until I crashed. I went to rehab and moved to Las Vegas in 1993 to get away from the trouble I was heading toward. Started at College of Southern Nevada. Guess what? Trouble reared it's ugly head again. I found my way when I met my future x-wife Ha Ha. I got married in Oct 1995 and divorced in 2002. I have two beautiful children. Jacob 15 and Alexis 9. Throught the years I've had a few jobs from managing a pizzaria to driving a semi truck. I now work in Afghanistan for KBR. I am a Senior Administrative Specialist. I have been here since Oct 2007. I hope I did not bore anyone to death. For a long time I did not want to think about my high school years or to keep in contact with anyone, but I cannot block out the greatest time of my life. WAHS Class of '91 for life!

Where do I start?...Well I guess from the beginning. I got a great education from the Department of Defense Dependant Schools....where I feel in love with my high school sweet heart Tamara Lopez. We graduated and moved back to the good ole U.S. of A. where we promptly got married (a year or so later). Tammy and I soon found out that love would not buy the groceries so I enlisted in the United States Army. I was taken away for 6 months or so for training/school and then sent right back to Germany. Kaiserslautern this time. Tammy joined me soon after. It was not long, a couple of months or so, that she began to feel a little morning sickness. This due to the fact that she had a baby in her belly:-). Julie Gwen Pike was born 9 months later. A beautiful little girl she was. A year or so of playing soldier and daddy and Tammy gets another little package and lo and behold I now have a son. I will spare you the details, but my time in the Army ended and unfortunately not long after so did my marriage from Tammy. I played the bachelor for a while.....oh about 4 years and met my lovely wife Jori. We now have 2 lovely daughters. After a long string of unsatisfying jobs I have enlisted in the Air Force Reserves where I am currently learning all about Avionics. I love it and don't see myself doing anything else. Thank you Würzburg American High School for giving me my foundation......even though you are gone, you will never be forgotten.

Wow...so I read all that was here to read. You people SUCK. Get on with the program kids! No one has written since last year. Haha, then there's me, JUST now getting here a few years late. Anyway, as for me - left WAHS, joined the Marine Corps and went to the Defense Language Institiue in Monterey, CA. I studied Korean and graduated from there, went to secondary training and on to my 1st duty station in in Kaneohe, HI. Joined a recon team and deployed like a mo-fo. Been to Kenya, Somalia, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and then some. Later on learned Cambodian thru the same Language School. Did that junk for 6 long years before getting selected for a commissioning program and heading off to college at the Univ. of Colorado in Boulder. WHAT A LIFE that was! Studied Linguistics and French (surprise surprise), graduated and went back to the Marine Corps as a commissioned officer. While in school, was also a competitive gymnast and trained for a while in Colorado Springs @ the US Olympic Training Center. Dated many a woman, met and eventually married one of 'em. I got out of the Marines after 13 long years. My wife and I had a gorgeous son named Isaiah Jamison. Since then, she and I parted ways and I am now a single Dad to my awesome kid, but such is life. Currently, I work as a gymnastics coach and teach part time. I also do some free lance translating since it would be a terrible waste to be fluent in 7 languages and not use the crap. (I'm also raising my kid to be multi-lingual. He's working on language number 3 at age 3.) I could be out there doing a million different other things, but working this way, I get to take my kid to work with me. I spend more time with him than with any other person in the world. Something most Dads can't say for themselves, so the sacrifice is well worth it. Planning on starting a Master's program likely in Education at CU this year. I miss the hell outta Wurzburg. I am trying to stay in touch with some, but not all of you.

After graduating from WAHS, I ended up in Rochester NY. Don D was my roommate in college and my teammate in Track and Field. I married my high school sweetheart, Nanci Higgins, and now we have two beautiful children. After going to school "forever," I am now a doctor in North Carolina. Unfortunately, I have not kept in touch much, but wanted to thank you all for the memories. WAHS was the foundation of my professional life and the cornerstone of my personal life. Without WAHS, I would not be the person I am today. I could not imagine my life without my wife and children...and that's exactly what I would be missing today if not for WAHS. I Hope everyone is doing well. And if not, tomorrow is another day. Stay strong and keep true to yourself...for in the end that's the only thing that will matter.

I have been working at a large printer here in the Columbia area now for 6 years. I have been married since New Years Day of 1998 to my wonderful husband Eric. We have been trying to have kids for a few years now without any luck but we keep our hopes up and we have a dog that is treated better that any child should be spoiled rotten) and her name is Indie. My husband teaches Language Arts at a local middle school and we enjoy attending his students functions. My husband also plays drums and often plays around town with various bands and friends. Life is good. I miss my times in Germany and all the friends that I've lost contact with.
Update: 2/11/06, After working more that 9 years at my previous job, I have changed printers and now work at State Printing (an RR Donnelley Company)in the prepress dept. as a Mac operator. She came to stay with us when she was 5 and stayed until she was 7. She has since gone back to live with her mom this past July. This was very hard for us. We have decided to start the adoption process for a child of our own, once we can scrape enough money together to do so. We spend alot of weekends attending hockey games. What's up people, let me give you a lil update on my past and current status in life. Contrary to popular belief, I AM NOT A DRUG DEALER, CRIMINAL, IN JAIL, GIGOLO (thought about it tho) or HOMELESS. :) after graduation, I Joined the Navy (I ran into Joe Scroggins, Hedrick Hunkin, and Derek Jenkins while in the navy). After a 6yr military career which took me across the world again, I decided to make L.A. cali my new home. I'm currently working for a pharmaceutical manufacturer company called Hospira Inc. as an electrical controls engineer here in Austin. I'm now divorced with 3 wonderful boys (age 13,5,& 2). I have so many memories from my high school days and my 7 years of growing up in Germany that I wouldn't know where to begin. But if anyone wants to gossip about old times and even present times then feel free to contact me @ imdejuan@hotmail.com, tx_southboy@yahoo.com or simply hit me on the hip @ (818)984-9252. A lot of growing up in 14years.Married and a mother to my beautiful son, Angelo, who just turned 4 in July....has been the best thing in my life, besides my husband, of course. I've been a nurse for 10 years..working home care for children with special medical needs. Part time student, furthering my education in nursing. Nice, quiet, simple life...very NORMAL, if you can believe that. Own my own home a beautiful French Bulldog...other than that, pretty boring and pretty nice, actually very nice. Email if you want....saporito107@yahoo.com....think about the good times often, comes up in conversation a lot...Gina, Jackie, Andrea, Eva, Anna, Amy and of course Matt.....You guys were great....wish I could go back sometimes....what a time...what an experience...thanks for all the great memories!

This is the longest I have lived anywhere! After moving around in Arizona ... here I am in Utah were I've been since 1997. Devin and i have been married for almost 13 years (WOW) and we have 3 children: Alissa Faith who is almost 12, Andrew David who just turned 10, and Arianna Celeste who will be 4 in July. I love being a mom! As for careers ... Geez! I managed Sun Coast Motion Picture Company and Warner Brothers stores for years back in the beginning ... while attending school part time. Now - I am working for a cool airline called JetBLue - I get to work from home which is great as a mom. Between moving and having children, I am still pecking away a school. I am 3/4 away from a Biology degree to specialize in Medical research - pretty much guaranteed 20 to 30k for graduate school research, but to be able to finish up I need a better paying job so I am starting a nursing program. Who knows I may go the doctor route ... definitely something medical. I still get offers from colleges so I have lots to choose from. I don't care how long it takes, I WILL get my degree. LOL
My favorite memories: Germany in general. Living with all that history around you. I miss it so much! Soccer. Choir and Band. Jason Thun (most of the time :) ). Dance team. Dracula?. Castle parties. The Labyrinth! The old days when Donald Dalrymple was a rocker - lol. A dance in the rain. And meeting my hubbie Devin. :) I miss those simple days ...
My best wishes to all of you. Be well and happy!

WOW! Where to begin??? After graduating from WAHS, I went to VA Tech in Blacksburg, VA. After 4 1/2 years, I finally graduated with a double major in Communications and English Education in 1995. Right out of school, I took a co-host position for a popular morning show in Roanoke. After about a year and a half of getting up at 4:30 AM and working until 5:30 PM, I said see ya' and taught 8th grade English for a year. I started feeling ancy right about the time I was offered a morning co-host position for a Top 40 station. I took the job, loved it, and got burned out...again. I'm so NOT a morning person! I am now teaching 7th and 8th grade English in Roanoke, while I finishing up my Masters in Educational Leadership. When I'm done, I'll be qualified for a principalship. My goal---to be like Mr. Kubarek!!!!! No husband, no children, no time!
