I attended Wurzburg High between 1981 to 1984. I was the Wurzburg Wolverine Mascot, Band, Varsity Cheerleader and a Gymnastic. My favorite teacher was Ms. Verny. I hear she's still around. I didn't graduate from Wurzburg High, because my father transferred and I graduated in 1985 in Lawton, Oklahoma. I am currently divorced with two boys 18 and 14. My oldest will leave for college this summer, so I'm excited. I have a Bachelors in Business Administration from Delaware State University, a Masters in Public Administration from Golden Gate University and a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of LaVerne. I work at a local hospital as their Human Resources Director and I'm a Professor for Webster University. I have many, many memories of Wurzburg especially the "Spain Gang."

Went stateside, got married early.... big mistake... no surprise.... Had a son in 84, Christopher, wonderful young men destined for politics no doubt. Did the divorce then re-marry thing a few times... big mistake ... no surprise...Had another son, Bradley in 1997... destined to drive his mother crazy no doubt... I am now an accountant for a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Instrument manufacturer.... Which with my grades should crack us all up. I guess skipping school and hanging around worked out somehow. Kimberly K. (McCoy) Jannsen
Chiemsee, Germany
Education: B.S., Syracuse University, 1988
Date: Thursday, March 30, 2000
Moved to Maryland with my parents the day after graduation, graduated from Syracuse in 1988, and traveled Europe with a backpack and a Eurail Pass as a graduation gift from my folks. Stopped by Garmisch to visit Marc Jannsen on my way through and fell head over heels in love. We were married in April 1991, and now have two kids, Christine, born in 93, and Sean, born in 96. I am now a stay at home mommy, doing some writing on a book, and chasing after Marc, the kids and the dog. And hey...lay off about marrying Marc after I swore I couldn't possibly date someone who was such a good friend. He reminds me of it every single day.
Best Memory:  Grad night at the Monastary. Those of you who were there and remember the whole thing need remind those who can't about it at every opportunity!

Leslie Teplin
Huntsville, AL
We left WAHS in '80, it was my second attempt in 8th grade. We moved to Huntsville, Al. Life in the "world" really sucked! I didn't realize that life wasn't the same back here in the states. I had a hard time adjusting to life without my dads ssn#. Schools were so different here. I didn't seem to fit in. There was so much to see and do in my years in Wurzburg. I thought I hated life over there... but it was life here that sucked. I made so many good friends at WAHS; Yvette Lovell, Lisa Smith... and my first boyfriends... Armin Lutz and Larry Colgrove. Sometimes it seems like yesterday, hard to believe its been over 20 years. My favorite memories are of the ski trip to Chiemsee in '78 and the week in Birchesgarden at the youth hostile in '79. ( I think those were the right years ) I can remember having to get up and jog to the little pond, chip the ice off of it, swim across and jog back to the youth hostile to start our days. If anyone remembers those days contact me at.... rootin4dj@yahoo.com or andersontoo@earthlink.net.  I hope to hear from some of yall real soon!

David Sieg
Alabama
as if we didn't have enough of the army all around us, i had to join as well. i spent 12 years doing german and hungarian translation work for the oxymoron to top all others-- military intelligence. as if that wasn't punishment enough, i really lost my mind and left service for another noble, yet impoverished profession, law enforcement, where i am today. although my current choice of profession has left me living somewhat hand to mouth, i have had the interesting experiences of being a detective, hostage negotiator, swat team member, and my current assignment as a patrol sergeant. i am married to the most tolerant lady in the world (after all, it isnt just anyone who can put up with me or public service pay) and i have two wonderful daughters.
