After graduating in 1982 I hung out in Wurzburg for about a year or so until I
followed my twin brother John to Killeen, TX. I stayed in Killeen working at a
furniture store with Teddy Roberts (class of 82)and hanging out with the likes
of Wesley Watson, Neil Stampley, Rexine McGruder, Gary Hayward and a couple of
other folks from the Wurzburg Alumni. In 1985 I finally decided to do something
with my life and joined the Air Force. Since then I spent two years
(1985-1987)stationed at Spangdahlem AB, Germany and then the next nine years
(1987-1996) Stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. There I met my beautiful wife
Julia. We have four awesome kids (3 step children and one between us). From
there I spent a year at Osan AB, Korea and then two and half years down in
Panama doing drug interdiction stuff in central and south america. From there I
spent four years at Altus AFB in Altus , Ok which is probably one of the worst
places to be stationed in the US. After dodging ! tornados and being bored to
death in Altus I volunteered for another tour to Osan AB, Korea. My follow-on
assignment brought me to current tour of duty as Chief of Communications and
Information for the 25th Intelligence Squadron and Hurlburt Feild in Fort Walton
Beach, Florida. I live here with my wife and 2 daughters Suleica and Cassie and
I have one son, Christopher, in the Air Force stationed at Nellis AFB, Nv and
one son in the Army reserve in Iraq. If anyone who knows me ever swings through
the Florida pan-handle I would love to say hi.

Moved to Fort Hood with Teddy Roberts, Jim and John Metcalf, Rexine McGruder, Gary Hayward, Patsy Harris...hung out a few years with this fun bunch and enjoyed life. Met my future wife while over a friends house and knew from that moment we would become lifetime partners Decided it was time to make some life altering decisions...so Jim Metcalf and I went to visit our local Air Force recruiter...I joined the AF in Mar 1985, and got married in June of the same year. My first duty assignment was Goodfellow AFB TX, after 5 years under the hot sun, while at
Goodfellow, my first daughter (Shanice) said hello to this world. Uncle Sam decided I had enough and sent the 3 of us packing to Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska for 7 years, with lots of dark nights and cold weather, we kept busy producing extensions to our family, Britney was born in 1992 and in 1994 my youngest
(Tia) came into this world to bless us once again. Oh, by the way...I'm messing a very important event in my life, in 1994 I gave my life to the Lord and havn't looked back since. Now on with the rest of my story. In 1997, Uncle Sam decided we needed a long extended vacation and sent us packing to Hickam AFB, Hawaii. Although most would think of Hawaii as a vacation, I set some pretty heavy goals while here...so most of my time went to finishing my B.S and completing my Microsoft Certification...my family enjoys hiking and the
outdoors, so we try to get out to explore as much as possible...in my spare time I like to hit a few white balls around large acres of clear cut grass with flags all over the place...some call it golf, but I prefer hacking as a better term. I'm looking forward to the reunion in July, for all those who want to reach me, drop me an e-mail at
wildman353@aol.com would really love to hear from you

large animal clinic and "try" to keep track of over 30 veterinarians.
I have been successful in the dog show world and one day I hope to have a
homebred Champion entered....I raise, train, and breed Collies, and recently
aquired a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog (known to many as Blue

San Francisco, CA
Education: Masters in Organizational Management, BS in International Relations
from the Univ. of San Diego
Date: January 25, 2000
I left WAHS to attend the University of San Diego where I majored in
International Relations. I spent one semester studying in London and upon
graduation accepted a job managing lighting stores in Los Angeles, CA. That was
not the most challenging job I'd ever had (Working at the AAFES toy store was
harder) so I took a job as a Regional Account Manager with Clairol (the hair
color company). After 4 years with them gaining management experience and taking
the classes needed for my degree in Organizational Management I moved on to
Marion Merrell Dow. I sold pharmaceuticals for a few years, then took a job
selling blood bank products for Johnson and Johnson. I then decided to quit my
job, sell my house on the beach and go traveling. I went around the country
saying goodbye to my family and then took off for South America. I spent 4
months traveling around on a truck and camping. I was able to go into the Amazon
Jungle in Ecuador, and fish for piranha, hike to Manchu Picchu in ! Peru, climb
to the top of the world's tallest ski resort in Bolivia, spend New Years in
Santiago Chile, hike the Torres Del Paine National Park, see penguins up close,
visit Eva Peron's grave in Buenos Aires, Visit Iguazu Falls and I ended my trip
by attending Carnival in Rio. Following that trip I went home for a friends
wedding, visited family and then moved to the UK for 6 months. On my return I
took a job as a headhunter in San Francisco. I've been placing software
engineers for the past two years and it has been a great job for me. I've been
able to do a little traveling and the highlights from this year were my two week
trip to Costa Rica and my New Years celebration in Sydney Australia. Starting
the millennium watching fire works over the Opera house while lounging on a sail
boat was pretty cool.
I'm now getting myself ready for the reunion in Las Vegas. I already have
reservations for myself and my parents. I do hope I see you there.
Best Memory: Hanging out on the bus rides to and from our soccer games. It
was a really nice group of people to hang out with.

Patrick Walker (Wertheim 74-88)
Montgomery, AL
Education: BA-Physical Science, MS Logistics Management
Date: Saturday, June 10, 2000
After graduation in 82, I attended U of M at Munich. After 2 fine years there,
majoring in Fine Arts, I returned to Wertheim and looked for a job. Ended up
working as a GS04 at the Furnishings Branch of the Housing Office. By a stroke
of (bad?) luck, I ended up being the man in charge of the branch when the
manager up and quit. All that responsibility thrust upon me changed my life
forever. In 1987, I had to leave the job as I was no longer a dependent (23 by
that point). I wanted to marry my then girlfriend, a nice German girl who lived
next door. So I decided to enlist in the Air Force, reporting to Basic Training
at Lackland AFB, TX, March 88. During those 6 weeks of Basic, I wondered what
the hell was I doing there, but I did survive to go on to Denver for Tech
training. My Air Force specialty was as a Weapons System Control Specialist for
the AC130 gunship so after 6 months of training, I ended up in sunny FT Walton
Beach at Hurlburt Fld, the home of AF Special Ops. During that move I married
that nice German girl. I was at Hurlburt Fld from 88-91. During that time I
strove hard to finish my degree, but realized it would happen as quickly as I
wanted. It became my aspiration to get a commission, but my age was becoming a
barrier. I got out in 91 to attend Troy St. University at Troy AL and joined the
AF ROTC program there. I earned a BA in Physical Science and received my
commission in the summer of 93. My first duty station as a lieutenant was at
Cannon AFB, NM. A dust hole is the best way to describe that experience.
Unfortunately, it was too much for that nice German girl who suffered from
severe homesickness so we ended up divorced. I spent two years (94-96) in New
Mexico and left for an assigment to Wright Patterson AFB Ohio to attend the Air
Force Institute of Technology (AFIT)to earn my masters in Logistics Management.
I graduated in 97 and left for Maxwell AFB, AL. During my last few months in
Ohio, I met someone over the internet (believe it or not) and we ended up
married in 98. I am now the daddy of four stepchildren, ages 14,12,10,8,
boy, girl, boy, girl and two dachshunds and a Himalayan. I currently work at the
Air Force Logistics Management Agency for HQ Air Force and have orders to go
back to Germany (Ramstein) after 12 years of trying.
Best Memory: My best memories of WAHS lie in the two years I played soccer
there and the great times I had in Spanish classes (Ms. McGhee) and Biology (Mr.
Winn)

Richard Buller
Hamburg, Germany
After WAHS I spent a year in Aberdeen, MD hanging out and lifting weights and
playing B-ball at the post gym. Then it was off to Texas Tech where I majored in
Industrial Engineering, rugby and beer. After that I ended up working for an
automotive supplier in Coburg, Germany from 91-92 who was looking to move to the
US. Their plans didn't pan out and I moved on. On to public accounting in
Frankfurt at KPMG a big six accounting firm. Married a nice German girl in 94. I
went to night school at U of M (94-95) in Germany and even a semester in College
Park (cashed in on hundreds of hours of overtime) and got my CPA in 95. Moved on
in 96 to become the financial controller of a subsidiary of a Canadian
automotive supplier in Gelnhausen close to Hanau. hated that and moved on to
PricewaterhouseCoopers - Hamburg in 98 doing transaction support and corporate
finance work. Transferred to the Mergers & Acquisitions department in 99 in
Frankfurt. Then transferred to the Toronto, ! Canada office still doing M&A
in 2001. Leaving the nice German girl behind. In 2001 I qualified as a Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA), moved back to Germany to work for a four man M&A
Investment Bank in Hamburg and Munich.
Currently the nice German girl and I are in the process of getting a divorce.
What's worse is that the realization that I now qualify to play old boys rugby
is finally sinking in. In Toronto I played first team for the Toronto Scottish
and now am back at my old Hamburg club the Exiles. Long gone are my soccer
playing days it seems.
Now I enjoy the odd weekend in London, hanging out with old friends from my PwC
days getting a bit messy down at the pub. Oh yeah, Greg Manwaring down in Munich
keeps threatening to come up for a visit, but never does. Greg, jubbels is
waiting for you...she really is.
Conny Leeson Boyd
Pelham, Alabama
Went off to College at The University of Alabama, finished with a B.S. in
Nursing (a few too many football parties blew med school plans). In the process
found a fine young southern gentleman, Dwain, and have been married for 15
years. Have two beautiful children, Stephanie and Michael. Stephanie is my
dancer, although she can shoot a mean jump shot, like her mom:>,and Michael
is quite the jock himself, already excelling in all sports dad signs him up for.
I managed to squeak out a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and have
been doing that for almost 5 years with a large Cardiology Group in the heart of
Alabama. My favorite memory: Too many to list!
