My family left Wurzburg the summer before I entered 10th grade. By far, the three years spent at WAHS were the best I experienced. Being a part of the JV cheerleading squad certainly congers up great memories. The walking trips we made around base and town were fun despite the fact that I got in trouble a few times for being longer than I had permission to be. After leaving Wurzburg, my father was stationed in Minneapolis. My family spent two years there. Then my father was sent to South Korea his second assignment there. He retired in '70 the year I graduated from Hattiesburg HS in Mississippi. I have two daughters and four grandchildren, whom I adore. Over the years, I have worked at many jobs. Most recently after teaching for six years I became a director of a preschool. I like the mix of classroom and the business side this career offers.

Graduated with a BS in Psychology from U. of Utah and went to work for SSA after a short stint with the State of Il. Still working there after 31 years, currently as a Security Analyst. No kids, but 3 grandkids by my stepdaughter, who are wonderful. Have done a lot of volunteer work with cat and dog rescues/shelters. Currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs. Finally have my own house and 6 acres in the country with my husband. Hope to retire soon to have more time for gardening and working with animal grooming and training. I might even find a job for the love of it rather than for the money it pays.

Although I'm listed in the class of '68, that's when I was at WAHS, I would have graduated in '70 if my father had not retired. After leaving Wurzburg,we settled in Garland, Texas (a Dallas suburb) where I finished in a graduating class which was larger than the entire enrollment of WAHS. I went to college to study engineering, and eventually went to work for Martin Marietta on the Titan IV program. I'm now working for an aerospace hydraulics company as a program manager at a the Bombardier facility in Montreal. I have two daughters, one who graduates from college this summer and one who graduates from high school. Last month I married the woman of my dreams, and in June we'll be moving back to Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Best Memory:  I remember playing basketball with coach Washburn, and of course I remember the division co-champs 1967 football team. Remember the 2-0 (yes I said 2-0) loss to Bitburg?
