Tracey (Edgerly) Meloni

I graduated from WHS in '62. As a sophomore, I won a short story contest at the now-defunct INGENUE magazine and just kept on writing. A scholarship to Boston University followed WHS, and a marriage to Navy Lt. James Rossiter Valentine, who was killed in '71.  Formerly press secretary and legislative director to three California members of Congress and Virginia's senior Senator, I now free-lance full-time, writing a weekly travel column, contributing regularly to regional magazines such as NORTHERN VIRGINIA, VIRGINIA LIVING, DELAWARE TODAY and SUSQUEHANNA STYLE. My physician husband, Bob, and I collaborate on pieces about worldwide health and travel.  We also are owned by Biscottie, our bossy Scottish terrier.  People always ask this, so I'll beat them to it: the actor, Christopher Meloni, is my husband's son (I am MUCH too young to be his Mum!)

Left Schweinfurt in 1961, graduated from Baker High School in Columbus Gerotgia. Married Donald Curry in 1963, lived in Key Largo until Donald died in 1966. We had two children. Moved to Miami and went to Miami-Dade Community College, married again in 1969 to Kevin Kenney. Together we attended University of West Florida in Pensacola. Moved from there to D.C. were Kevin worked with an accounting firm and I had two more children. Moved to Stuart, Florida in 1974 where Kevin opened a CPA practice and I worked for him for 12 years as an accountant. After that much togetherness we decided I would be better off working somewhere else. I opened and later sold a Travel Agency. I am now relaxing and enjoying life. Oldest daughter, Beth, lives locally and has one son.. My son Michael, lives in Orlando and is a software engineer. Youngest daughter, Blaine is at DLI in Monterey studying Arabic. (I lost one child along the way). Would love to attend the 2000 reunion and plan to. Let me hear from others planning to attend.
