After graduation, I lived in Clarksville, TN for 4 and a half years, attending Austin Peay State University. I will graduate this May with a degree in health and human performance with a specialization in wellness promotion. Currently, I am working as an intern at the University of Arkansas' athletic training department with the football, track, and tennis teams. Post grad, I plan to do my master's work either here at Arkansas or the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga.

I'm one semester (hopefully) from graduating with a BSN (Nursing) and a minor in political science from Truman State University. I never expected nor wanted to be a nurse, but during my sophomore (while studying in the Netherlands), I realized that I wanted to go into the healthcare field, and nursing had fewer requirements than health science, so I went for nursing. In March of my fourth year (of five), I decided I want to be a doctor, so after I graduate, I will work as a nurse in an OR or ER (probably in St. Louis) for a few years, while working on some chemistry classes and starting a Master's in Public Health (Health Policy), and then I will go on to med school. I'd like to do surgery or gynecology. I hope to one day be able to incorporate my love of sociology, international relations, and health, and work for an organization such as the World Health Organization or Planned Parenthood International.
I've continued to remain active in organizations such as Model United Nations, and I began a chapter at Truman of Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood. While still in high school, I knew I wanted to study in Europe, so I spent the spring of 2003 in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and I was actually able to come home and visit my parents on weekends. That summer I was an au pair for a German family near Kaiserslautern. It really helped improve my handle on the language, and I learned what it's like to really work! I cleaned the house, helped cook, helped in the garden, babysat the four-year-old, and tutored the 13-, 14-, and 15-year-olds in English! Whew! I know that I do not want to work with children -- or ahve a house I have to clean!
My parents still live in Schweinfurt, and as I write this, I'm at their house and should be packing since I go back to MO tomorrow. My mother still teaches English and History at Schweinfurt Middle School and my father still works for the (now) Bavaria District. They have no plans yet to retire, so as long as they are here, I'll still be able to come. I haven't been to Wuerzburg during this trip, but there is a possibility I will return to Germany after graduation.
My email address is still aazza@hotmail.com and my AIM screen name is A11isonAnn.

I graduated with a degree in communications and a pretty successful collegiate soccer and tennis career. I was recently named Head Men's Tennis Coach at the University of Dubuque and absolutely love it. I am also pursuing my masters as well. Not too many people knew that I played tennis especially since I chose football over tennis in HS. I have played my entire life and it is finally paying off. Please feel free to hit me up at wporter@dbq.edu

After graduation I stayed in Schweinfurt with my parents, bummed around working for Taco Bell and taking classes with UMUC. I moved to Minnesota in 2004, and I go to the University of North Dakota where I am majoring in art education, although I may change and study to become a social worker, not really sure yet. It seems like I miss Germany like everyone else... Don't have any kids and no serious relationship. And if anyone would like to e-mail me my address is poetstr@aol.com

After leaving Germany, life became interesting. I attended the University of Idaho for a year, studying everything and anything really. Shortly there after, I got really tired of seeing snow (which went from Nov-June), and moved to Mississippi to be closer to Mary (Todd). After 3 months of being here Mary and I found out that we were going to have a baby. So a few months later we got married. I was at some point studying Computer Engineering (have about 1 1/2 years left with that), but soon became worn out. Since then I have done some odd jobs. I worked as a tech for Gateway, then worked as Supervisor for Best Buy in the Computer department, now I enjoy (not really) making and fixing industrial transformers (only doing this for a year and then going back to school to finish up my degree...maybe even a minor in math or physics). Mary however stayed in school. She is currently 1 year away from grad. and is going to be a teacher. She is going to go to Germany to do an intern! ship type thing (not sure what it is really called), and then going to come back and wait for me to finally finish off my edu. Our son, is going to be 3 soon, and we are getting ready to take him trick-or-treating for the 1st time this weekend, so really looking forward to that. Well, I guess that if any of you wish to talk to myself or Mary here is or e-mail: rmctaylor03@netzero.com  We would love to hear from you.

Right after graduating, I started at Florida State University, first as pre-med, but switched to merchandising. During my second year there, I bought the most beautiful dog, a Weimaraner. Her name is Lillie and she is now 3 years old. During my senior year at FSU, I met the love of my life and boyfriend, Rick, who still lives in Tallahassee until December. I moved to Dallas in March to do and internship with Fossil, Inc at their headquarters. I graduated this past spring (April 2005) with a degree in Merchandising. Fossil hired me after my internship was finished, and now, I am a Product Coordinator/Assistant Planner for Men's Leathers. I love my job and am very good at it. In a couple of years, Rick and I plan on getting married and may move to LA, after he finishes Film school.
I live with sister (Samantha, who graduated in 2004 from Carthage high school in Watertown, NY), but she is soon transferring to UT in Austin. My mom, Jennie (Slone) Torres attended WAHS in the 70's, is working at a school in Copperas Cove, TX. My dad retired at the end of 2004 as CSM. My parents (they met in Schweinfurt 30 years ago) are about to celebrate their 27th anniversery in October. My brother (Martin) works in Ft. Hood as a vendor manager. My dog, Lillie, and our family dog, Ellie, live with my parents. If anyone would like to email me, my email addresses are jtorres@fossil.com or dancingirl13_02@yahoo.com

Just finished reading a bunch of other bios so I thought I'd add mine. I lived with my fam for almost a year in Fayetteville, NC (Ft. Bragg) following WAHS grad. Then I decided to go north, and spent a year at a Bible school in Pottersville, NY. At the end of that scholastic year, May '03, I started dating the girl I'm going to marry, Amy Hartman. Back in August of that year I decided to fly out and visit her home town for a few weeks. I've been here ever since, living and working in this beautiful mountain town of 400 people and loving every minute of it. I've been bouncing around from apartment to apartment, and she's been living with her folks. We'd like to get hitched this summer, after which I'm planning to head up north again and enroll at the University of Montana. I'd like to major in either history or... Chinese, with a minor in the other. Let me know how things have been. Email at Schlurchangry@hotmail.com

Wuerzburg, Germany
Well, it seems I still haven't left Wuerzburg...it's kind of hard when your'e half German, and have been raised here! After graduation, I decided to take a year off, work, save up...that lead to two years...and that's when I realized that I wanted to study theatre in the UK. (Once you've been bitten by the theatre bug, your'e hooked!) So I applied to a few select schools, but due to how competitive this particular field is, I didn't get in the first time around. It seems these acting schools hold auditions for thousands of people every year, and they only take on 20 to 30 people! It's crazy. However, I was lucky this year: I got accepted to Hertfordshire Theatre School, just 30 mins. outside of London. I'm so excited! But, due to finacial problems that arose, I had to postpone my entry date until next year, so I'll be going then. In the meantime I plan on working on my AA at Schiller U. in Heidelberg. I love Europe, that's why I haven't packed up and moved to the states like the rest of you. This is my home, and I want to stay here. I really feel no particular urge to go to the states, except of course to travel! All of my friends have moved, that's one of the disadvantages of staying behind. As many of you may remember, I am still quite the artist, singer/ actress, and horse-crazy as ever! I got into natural horsemanship, or horse-"whispering", as you might have heard it called, and I love it. It's very relaxing. If all else fails, I'll work with horses the rest of my life. I have spent the past three years working for AAFES (one year) and then I got into Child and Youth Services, and devoted my life to being a mentor to Middle and High School aged youth for about two years. It was fun while it lasted. But I was very glad to see how many of you added your bios, I hope your'e all doing well, and if you want to get in touch with me, I'd be more than happy to hear from you! My email is kimteel@yahoo.com.  By the way, one thing I always forget to mention...I received the rank of First Degree Black Belt with the American Taekwando Association, and am now studying Kung Fu at a martial arts gym downtown Wuerzburg. GO WOLVES!

Since Wuerzburg, I've been Traveling the world doing what I love the most. My travels eventually took me stateside to Ft. Lewis, WA where I packed up after only two weeks and moved on to New Mexico. 3 months later I got the itch to see more so I hopped a buss for Idaho. I got a little homesick so a few months later I went to Olympia, WA. I stewed there for 6 months before boarding a plane for New York. Sadly, New York and I didn't agree much so after a day trip to Canada I went into town and took the "next big step". Like my dad, I stepped up to the plate and joined the US ARMY. I've been in for two years and have been loving/hating it since day one. I did basic at Ft. Benning, GA and AIT at Ft. Eustis, VA. Since then I've been living in S. Korea and have just finished my 1st tour. Amazingly enough I've grown to love it here so much I've decided to stay for a second year.

Those fo you wondering what happened to me education wise will be happy to know that I am only a hop skip and a jump away from a Masters in History with a minor in Economics. I have the Army to thank for it mostly, with out it I'd probably never finished college. Those of you who want to drop me a line should feel free to do so at tim.s.kerrick@us.army.mil  Hope to hear from you soon. -t.s. kerrick

Well since I left Würzburg it’s been a wild ride. I left the day after graduation in 2001 and didn’t even get to say goodbye to everyone…sad. I went to the University of Colorado for a year and experienced the college life to the fullest but got bored of it. I am currently one term away from getting my associates in Networking from a private technical college in Denver and I am going to stay and get my Bachelors in Information Systems Security. I live in an apartment in Denver and work at IBM in boulder as a Computer Tech/Nerd and love it.Life is good:-) Hope everyone is doing great and missing Germany as much as I do. Take care

Never actually attended WAHS. I attended the middle school there from 5th to 8th grade. Had many friends there. Best times where sitting at lunch and talking or seeing each other in after school activities. Since Germany I got my GED. I am seeking a higher education at a community college. I am going to take Business Management classes. I am currently a manager at a store where I work. Will hopefully get relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where I can live with my brother Byrd Schrock and Manage a store in the mall, the same as he does.
I remember when I lived there I hated it and the only thing that I could think of was to get the hell out of there. I look back on those days with pity thinking back on all the good memories that I had that will be with me forever.

I went to Würzburg for only my senior year. It was the best time ever. I went to University of Maryland, and then transferred out. Then I went to Troy State University, and became bored there as well. So now I'm on my way to Auburn University. Hoping I will find something fun to do. You wouldn't believe it but I've meet half a dozen people from our high school down where I live. Plus I've meet dozens who went to school in Europe while we were there as well. Oh yeah... I was engaged then got left for a limo driver. Pretty funny story huh?

After graduation, I moved with my parents to Clarksville. I am now a sophomore at Austin Peay State University. I live on campus. My parents and little brother, Charles, moved to Huntsville, AL this summer. I am undeclared (again). I live on campus in the apartment dorms. I am a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, the first sorority ever founded, in 1851. I am currently single and plan to stay that way. Anyway, class of 2001 is the best, go wolves, rock on. I'm out.
Update: Junior at Austin Peay State University, majoring in sports medicine. Dating a football player. Work at a law firm. Livin' on my own. That's about it. GO WOLVES
Additional entry: I moved the summer after I graduated in 2001. I now attend Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. I live at home still. I finally got my license in November (yay) and I drive a green 98 chevy lumina, and yes, it is kind of a soccer mom car, but oh well. I am a member of the Alpha Upsilon class of the Eta Gamma chapter of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and I love it. I am currently undecided in my major. I lived in Wurzburg from 86 to 89 and from 96 to 2001. I went to kindergarten and 7th, 8th and all of high school there. I love Wurzburg, really, and I miss it very much. I have most of the best memories of my life come out of that school and the people that attended it. I am thankful for the experiences I had when I lived overseas. Hopefully, I'll be able to come back this summer, because I really do miss it. I didn't think I would miss it this much, but I really do and now I realize just how much my time there meant to me. Go wolves!
Additional entry: I am in the middle of my second semester here at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. I live with my parents and I have my driver's license (yay) but unfortunately, not my own car because I am still the laziest person ever and do not as of yet have a job. I am a member of the Eta Gamma chapter of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority- the first and the finest since 1851. I am undeclared as of yet and i could be doing better in school, but that's all there is. You guys haven't missed much. I was at Wuerzburg American Elementary School for kindergarten and the Middle School for have of 7th and all of 8th and spent all four wonderful years of high school in the pack. I loved it and am so grateful for my experiences because I know so very many people who have yet to leave the country and have lived in this sorry little town all their lives. It meant a lot to me and I didn't realize it at the time, but I'm thankful for everyday I had at Wuerzburg American High School.
