The Gold Coast Hotel and Casino is renovating its guest rooms.  At the time of the 2009 "All-Class" Alumni reunion, half of the hotel will have been renovated.  Due to this fact, there will be two room rates available.  The Standard rates are for the un-renovated rooms.  The Premium rate is for the renovated rooms.  Click here to see photos of a renovated room.  Out of a 350 room block of rooms, 60% of that block are Standard rooms and 40% are Premium rooms.  If you would like to take advantage of the cheaper Standard room rates, please make your reservations as soon as possible.  See the notes below as to how to make a reservation.  Thank you.

All rates are net, per room, per night, and are subject to the prevailing Clark County room tax.  Currently, the tax rate is 9% but it is subject to change.

Children under the age of 14 years may share a room with their parents at no additional charge, provided additional bedding is not required.  Rollaway beds can be provided upon request, but, due to fire code, and ONLY available in king-bedded rooms.  For a rollaway bed, you would ADD $15 plus room tax, per night.

The hotel requires that all groups (of ten or more guests) arriving on the same day, at the same time, via the same mode of transportation (i.e. bus) prepay a $4.50 per person baggage handling charge for all guests in the group.  This policy does not apply if attendees are arriving on an individual, sporadic basis.

DO NOT make reservations over the internet with a commissionable travel system or a travel agent.  If you do so, the group rate will not be available.

DO call Gold Coast Hotel and Casino at 888-402-6278 and identify yourself as an attendee of the 2009 Würzburg Alumni Reunion.  Our reservation code is 9WRZC06.  Reservations are now being accepted for the June 2009 Reunion.  Remember making your reservation the sooner, the better!  The Gold Coast was sold out in 2000 and some of our alumni waited too long and couldn't get a room.  You can always cancel the reservation later, if need be.

You may also make a reservation by emailing the Gold Coast Central Reservations Office and include all pertinent information such as your name, address, telephone number, arrival date, departure date, room type requested, credit card guarantee and expiration date.  I suggest just making the telephone call.
